Nanogem Guide

Nanogem Guide

Two layered silver necklaces with circular pendants, each decorated with radiating lines and a small pink gemstone in the center, on a wooden surface.
A chart titled 'Birthstones' displaying months and their corresponding gemstones, including January with Nanogem Rhodolite Garnet, February with Nanogem Amethyst, March with Nanogem Aquamarine, April with Nanogem Clear, May with Nanogem Emerald, June with Nanogem Light Amethyst, July with Nanogem Ruby, August with Nanogem Peridot, September with Nanogem Blue Sapphire, October with Nanogem Opal, November with Nanogem Citrine, December with Nanogem Turquoise.

I use Nanogems in my Strovia and Asteris necklaces. Nanogems are laboratory made and can withstand the temperatures needed to fire silver clay. A lot of natural stones can’t.

This chart should help you select the appropriate nanogem if you are buying a birthday or anniversary gift. Have a look in the shop for pictures of the full range. The ruby ones are shown here.

It’s hard to capture the exact colour of the gems and, what colour you see will also depend what screen you are viewing them on. The photos were taken using natural light with minimal editing to make sure you see as close to the gemstone colour as possible.
